Aluminium sulfate

Aluminum sulfate is a chemical compound with the formula Al2(SO4)3. It is soluble in water and is mainly used as a coagulating/flocculating agent in the purification of drinking water and waste water treatment plants, and also in paper manufacturing. Aluminum sulfate is rarely, if ever, encountered as the anhydrous salt. It forms a number of different hydrates, of which the octadecahydrate Al2(SO4)3•18H2O is one of the most common types. Both forms are soluble in water, noncombustible, and nontoxic. It is commercially available in solid (kibbled, crushed, or powder) and liquid (50% w/w solution) forms. Aluminum Sulfate

Aluminum Sulfate Usages

Aluminum sulfate has many different uses in day-to-day life, as well as being used in several essential industries. Interesting uses of aluminum-sulfate around the house are in gardening. Because it is extremely acidic, it’s sometimes added to very alkaline soils to balance the pH for plants. When the it comes into contact with water, it forms aluminum hydroxide and a much diluted sulfuric acid solution, which alters the soil acidity. All levels of crude aluminum sulfate can be used for water purification and water treatment ; it used for purification cannot be produced by waste acid toxic substances. This material have different usages like, Synthetic catalyst production Water Treatment and purification systems Wastewater Treatment (clarification and phosphorus removal) Paper mills (charge neutralization, rosin sizing and pitch control) Dye (fixing dyes to fabrics and textiles, without altering the color of the dye) Packaging: 25,50 kgs 2 layer laminate PP Aluminum Sulfate
